So, what do we know about him? Just seen that announcement. A very good appointment, had a very good season with Langley last season on a very limited budget. The lack of money was the official reason they left I believe, so they must have been promised more money here. We won’t see the swashbuckling style of football any more but that nearly got us relegated last season so in footballing terms we can expect to be more structured but also picking up a lot more points in games where we lost all three this season. I’m more than optimistic about this. Apparently Steve is a proper football person and very no nonsense according to a Langley fan I know. |

I’m not just saying this because of my position, if I didn’t agree I would have just stayed quiet unlike some of the players on Twitter today...
But what staggywilson said is absolutely bang on the money. These blokes aren’t mugs, they may play the ‘Man City way’ but this is non-league and they have already showed what they’re capable of on a limited budget. They have ambition and so do we, which is why having met them, Steve at EHP is right behind them and will back us fully again next season. We can lose 4-3 or we can win 1-0, points are all that matters at this level and we will see a huge improvement on surviving on the final day with these two at the helm in my opinion.

I totally agree. We should get behind the new duo. To slate them before thry have even uttered a word is pretty disingenuous. I just hope they don't look at social media. We are lucky to attract people with Step 3 experience and should give them a chance! |

It is good news that appointment has been made sooner rather than later, hope they cast an eye over the talent that we have at the club..without mentioning them by name some have been outstanding and given some great effort, thinking about the last two games when we really needed it as well...
That said good luck and will be behind them, galey was great and will be missed but this is where we are now....

I believe all players will probably receive a call. It’s up to them how they want to play it from there though, as one or two seem to have already burned their bridges on Twitter without even speaking to the new boss.
