Okay, who do we want and who is likely to come? Tony Reid from Westfield? Not sure he has managed at Step 3. What about the Chertsey manager?

Dave Anderson at Chertsey would be a good choice, but I honestly think they'll be challenging again in the Bostik South next season and don't see why he would want to leave.
Not sure what we need really, a young hungry manager or a wise old head. I think I'm pushing towards the latter.

Hayes and Yeading got promoted from the Bostik South Central on a reported weekly wage bill of between £3.5 and £4k a week, Chertsey have been promoted from the league below and reached Wembley with a similar budget! The manager would be on a very very good wage and it would take a club throwing silly money at him to leave Chertsey.

No idea what sort of budget we have but I bet it's more than the likes of Hartley who had a great season after back to back promotions. The duo there could be worth a look although I think the assistant has just left to manage in his own right.
I can't see many at this level wanting to come to us, so we're surely looking at either someone who's done really well at Step 4 or someone experienced who's been out of the game a while.

Will Tony Gale stay now Ant has gone?

I did have a brief chat to Anthony at Met Police and he gave nothing away. Hartley Whitney apparently do have quite a decent budget. For a village club they are well run, funded by a thriving social club that is busy 7 days a week. Also have a thriving youth section, which would of helped fund ground improvenents when at a lower level (but cannot see anyway whatsoever they can go any further up at the current ground)
