Casuals v Merthyr Town, Saturday 29th January 2022 K.O. 3-00pm at The Hub. Merthyr the strongest club in the league come to The Hub this Saturday. Casuals having suffered the disappointing defeat at Swindon last Saturday, no doubt wish to prove that they are not an "also run" side in the league. What the game will pan out like we'll have to wait and see.
Merthyr as a club and their fans, are well liked by Casuals Supporters, most of the diehard supporters appreciate that Merthyr are one of the archetypal Step 3 clubs. What having to "sit out" last season has had is only speculation, but clearly it was unhelpful in this seasons preparation. Again whilst no one would suggest ill of up and coming Step 5 clubs, but playing Merthyr is a bench mark of any club wishing establish itself at Step 3. No doubt again Saturdays game will be a close one. Hopefully Spud, TWM and the rest of the Casuals supporters, including The Stags Army will be there.

Wimbledon Casuals v Oxted & District, Gordon Worsfold Senior Cup (Quarter Final) Wimbledon Casuals are at home, 2:15pm on the back pitch. Any groundhoppers who think they can freeload, had better be aware that you still need the wristband to watch the Merthyr game.
