12th placed Casuals take the trip down the M4, to face 8th placed Weston-super-Mare, this Saturday (11th Dec). Casuals are 2 points behind Weston but have played 3 more games (I can't be there for family reasons, but Terry Woodyatts Mate might get a lift).
Casuals will look to carry on from their recent good results, against a Weston-super-Mare side who also are also have a decent but uninspiring season
Casuals won the corresponding home fixture 1-0, with a goal from Rohdell Gordon.
Casuals will want to continue their realistic ambition of a top ten finish, (which will give them the fifth completed season in a row, that they have bettered their previous seasons league position); while Weston will want to keep their play-off hopes intact; so Saturday already looks a good competitive fixtures, which both sides will be looking to win.
For those, like me, not going to Weston-super-Mare, their are several local games on.
Locally;-
For those thinking of watching our co-tenants and namesake, Wimbledon Casuals; they're at home to Richmond & Kew in the cup K.O. 2-15pm at The Hub back pitch
Hersham are away at 4th placed Staines Lamas, hoping to consolidate their position in the Surrey Premier League, K.O. 2pm.
Cobham are without a game.
For those living North of The River-
Our rivals but good friends Hampton are away at St Albans City in the National South
Chertsey Town are away at South Park in the Isthmian South Central
Abbey Rangers are at Home to AFC Newham in a intriguing game in F.A. Vase
Spuds lot are home to Wimborne Town,
Improving Molesey face Sheerwater, at Walton Road.
And finally it churlish not to mention Casuals prodigal son, Scott Harris, who continues to be doing a fine job with his team, who are in great danger of being promoted;
more so, if they win their top of the table clash at The Hub against Badshot Lea this Saturday.
