14th placed Casuals go into this match against 9th placed Taunton Town this Saturday 4th December at The Hub, K.O. 3-00pm. Casuals go into this match against Taunton Town this Saturday 4th Dec K.O. 3-00pm @ The Hub, following a set of Jekyll & Hyde results. A good display against Weston-super-Mare, was followed by a 1-3 defeat at Hendon, which was followed by a remarkable team performance against Championship favourites Hayes & Yeading United, mid-week in the League Cup. Only three points separate Casuals from Taunton so the indications are it will be another intriguing game. Taunton had a good win themselves in the League Cup away at Weston. Casuals journey to the West Country earlier in the season resulted in a 3-0 mauling at the hands of Taunton Town, so they will again, have to be at their determined best to get anything from the match. Interestingly Spuds team Met Police received a 0-3 defeat at Hendon. CSS Southern League Cup 3rd RoundHarlow Town were knocked out of the League Cup by Berkhampstead. The only remaining tie in the 3rd Round is the Swindon Supermarine v Wantage Town. The other quarter-finalists are;- Walsall based Rushall Olympic and North Oxfordshire based Banbury United, both of the Southern Premier Central. The two Somerset based clubs Taunton Town (Southern Prem South) and Paulton Rovers (Southern Div 1 South) The two Hertforshire based clubs Royston Town (Southern Prem Central) and Berkhampstead (Southern Div 1 Central). THE DRAW FOR THE 4th ROUND (quarter final) of THE CSS SOUTHERN LEAGUE CUP IS YET TO BE MADE.
The Ties are due to be played on Tuesday/Wednesday 11th/12th January 2022.

The Islanders haven't played for a bit FAS, they've had a few games called off. Did play at RHOB on 18th Dec and play at Farleigh on 8th Jan; For future ref;- fulltime.thefa.com/displayTeam.html?divisionseason=363682101&teamID=308630740I try and give local fixtures when Casuals either don't have a game or are playing away in a "non local" fixture. The sort of noises coming out of the Islanders, is that they want to improve their facilities and remain on Desperate Field, rather than move and groundshare to get promotion. As no doubt you appreciate they are a very progressive with a hard working, level headed chairman and officials, who want to produce a good standard of adult team for there youngsters to go to at 18.
