13th placed Casuals take the trip round the North Circular, to face 16th placed Hendon, this Saturday (27th Nov). (I can't be there for family reasons, but Terry Woodyatts Mate might get a lift).
Casuals will look to carry on from their two recent narrow wins, against a Hendon side who haven't won since 6th November (four matches), when they defeated Salisbury at home 2-0.
Casuals won the corresponding home fixture 2-1, coming back from 0-1 down, with goals from Adam Liddle and a last minute winner from Gab O'Dunaike, so Saturday already looks a good competitive fixtures, which both sides will be looking to win.
For those, like me, not going to Hendon, their are several local games on.
For those thinking of watching our co-tenants and namesake, Wimbledon Casuals; their home game, due to be played on the back pitch, against Frenches Athletic has been postponed. (Covid related)
Hersham face 2nd placed Battersea Ironsides, hoping to consolidate their position in the Surrey Premier League, K.O. 2pm on The Island again entrance free.
Cobham are without a game.
For those living North of The River
Our rivals but good friends Hampton are away at Plymouth Parkway in the F.A. Trophy. (I can't see many making the trip)
Chertsey Town are away at Guernsey (I can see even less making that trip)
Abbey Rangers are at Home to Hanworth Villa in a humdinger of a game in Combined Counties North.
Spuds lot are home to Yate Town, which looks are really good one.
And I can't see many of the allotment vegetables, or even Molesey supporters going to Jersey.
And finally it churlish not to mention Casuals prodigal son, Scott Harris, who seems to be doing a fine job with his team, who are in great danger of being promoted.
