Casuals take a break from league action this Saturday, as for the second time this season the start on the "Road to Wembley" in the F.A. Trophy.
Casuals v Great Wakering Rovers... F.A. Trophy 3rd Qualifying Round... Sat 30th October 2021... K.O. 3-00pm... Home at The Hub.
Casuals face Great Wakering Rovers, 19th placed (2nd to bottom) in the Isthmian League North (Step 4).... The Southend based side, have an 80 mile trip round the M25 to Casuals..... Great Wakering Rovers only league win this season was, 1-0 at home to bottom place Hullbridge Sports. They did pick up a point at 2nd placed Dereham Town..... In the week, they "parted company" with manager Stephen Butterworth.
However don't be fooled they had a good run in the F.A. Cup and have done well to get this far in the Trophy.
No doubt Spud will have watched their 1-2 loss at Stowmarket and will have prepared a very detailed report for Anthony.
