Following on from their 4-2 win at Beaconsfield, 8th placed Casuals travel to 12th placed Tate Town this Saturday (23rd Oct). I do hope to be there.
Casuals will be looking for points from this game to maintain their top 10 place and three points of a play off place, still keep the aroma of finishing in the top five. Yate Town are 4 points behind Casuals but do have two games in hand. With the Dover Athletic F.A. Cup tie being re-arranged for Tuesday, no doubt Yate will want to be at their best for the visit of Casuals and could well proving another stern test for Anthonys team, who haven't lost in their last five games.
For those not going to Yate, their are several local games on.
Our co-tenants and namesake, Wimbledon Casuals are at Home, on the back pitch, to Earlsfield SSEC in Surrey South Eastern Combination, K.O. 2-15pm entrance free.
Hersham will want to get back to winning ways when they face Reigate Priory, (10 times Surrey Senior Cup Finalists, winning it on 6 occasions and reached the 2nd round of the F.A. Cup on 2 occasions), in the Surrey Intermediate Cup, K.O. 2pm on The Island again entrance free.
Cobham face AFC Croydon Ath at home in the Combined Counties.
Molesey are without a game.
North of The River
Our rivals but good friends Hampton take on Chippenham Town at the Beveree, in the National South
Abbey Rangers are at Home to Horley in the F.A. Vase.
Spuds lot are away at Tiverton Town. But no doubt he'll be at Stowmarket compiling his usual report.
And finally it churlish not to mention Casuals prodigal son, Scott Harris, who seems to be doing a fine job with his team, who are in great danger of being promoted.
