A goal from Josh Lelan was added to by Rohdell Gordan to give Casuals a 2-0 lead at half time and the feeling they would go on to a comfortable win. However to their credit Wimborne changed tact in the second half and "kept plugging away". When Harry Morgan scored just into half, it gave the visitors Wimborne the lift they needed, to believe that they could get something out of the game. Harry Morgan scored again to set the scorers level with half an hour to go, but neither team could add to the 2-2 score line.
Casuals will rue their missed chances and were "kept at bay" by some good keeping by "man of the match" Billy Terrell.
The result means Casuals drop to 13th, (a win would have put them 8th) Wimborne move out of the bottom three.
All this makes Saturdays home game against 11th place Swindon Supermarine all that more intriguing.
Just a quick word about the officials, who I thought had an excellent game.
I would appreciate comments on the game from others who went. I don't know if anyone from the Mole/Ember Allotment went to the Police game.
