Casuals were by far the stronger side in the first half. A superb headed goal from a set piece by "man of the match" Mitchal Gough set the tone as Casuals missed several half chances. Having had the "half time talk", Tiverton started the second half with more vigour, but to underline the overall control of the game, Adam Liddle clinical strike put Casuals further ahead. Tiverton rung the changes and did score a scrambled goal, but Casuals saw out the rest of the game.
